Burch has lived in Cape Coral
for 15 years and in addition to serving Council District 1, he is a
professional land surveyor. Previously, he was the owner of Burch Surveying
& Mapping from 1996 to 2005 which was acquired by DRMP. Employed by DRMP,
he currently serves as Southwest Florida Regional Director. Married for 25 years to Janet, Burch has
three children and with his busy schedule, still finds time to be involved as a
coach in the Cape Coral National Baseball League and in basketball with Cape
Coral Parks & Recreation.

Mr. Rivera presently serves as the Director of the
Department of Community Development for the City of Cape Coral after having served briefly as the
Assistant City Manager. Previously, he had international experience managing
national projects for the US Agency for International Development in Ecuador, and served as manager of county and
city governments in Virginia, New York, and North
Carolina. He is married with three sons and three
grandsons and has a Masters Degree in Sociology and Public Administration.
